RoBeats Marketplace

The Marketplace is at the east of the RoBeats lobby, allowing you to sell items such as notes, gems, & tokens, up to a limit of 8 sales. However, in order to sell an item, you need to pay stars; 1 star when you have 4 or less items up for sale, and 2 stars if you have more than 4 items for sale, with the cost being reduced by 1 star if you have VIP. You can set a price for each sale between 1 and 1,000,000 coins. You can also trade in the Marketplace, which allows you to directly trade items from other players instead of waiting for someone to buy it.

Usage[]

The Marketplace is used for buying notes, blueprints, gems, tokens, and fever icons. It is mostly used by the experienced community as the NoteBot does not give a guaranteed chance of goods while the Marketplace sells everything at a certain amount of coins.

Criticism[]

The RoBeats Marketplace is sometimes criticized for being a popular place for scammers. They scam by overpricing items and “borrowing” items but not bringing them back and/or leaving the game. It is also criticized much more for having inaccurate prices, with some goods’s price recommended in the Marketplace Buying Center much higher or lower than the real accurate price. However, this can be solved by asking experienced people what they are worth.

Trading[]

Trading can be done in the Marketplace and only with players in it. It allows players to transfer, purchase, sell and trade materials.

Trivia[]

  • The price RoBeats recommends you to put for an item to sell is usually inaccurate, therefore, it is better to reach out for other players in the trading channel from the official RoBeats Discord server if you don't know the price of something.
  • According to spotco, the marketplace was removed for a day due to suspicious trading.
  • Before the marketplace was added into the game, players were required to visit the trading area by using a button labeled Trades that was at the right side of the screen, which is near where the Social button is today.
