The Leaderboards is a mechanic whereas the player gets to compete with other people to see who is currently the best in the game. There are 3 types of leaderboards that are currently in the game.
Weekly Leaderboards[]
Weekly leaderboards
Weekly Leaderboards first got introduced on July 20th, 2018. The weekly leaderboard consists of 8 songs, usually being 4 normal modes and 4 hard modes which are chosen randomly each week, usually songs that were already featured in an event or new songs (regardless of the songs being VIP or not). Players must interact with Lisa and pay 500 coins in entry fee for each songs in order to join, however, you can only join 4 songs only. If you do not have the song, you can pay an additional 200 coins to get it if it’s a normal mode or pay 5 stars if it is a hard mode.

Event Leaderboards[]
Event leaderboards
The Event Leaderboards first got introduced on October 10th, 2021. The event leaderboard operates similarly to the regular weekly leaderboard, but the prizes are only event points, making it good to progress far in the featured artist event. The leaderboards starts randomly between 5-10 minutes after the last event leaderboards ended or the game's server age has started. When it starts, a random song (regardless of difficulty) from the featured artist selection will be chosen to be played. If the chosen song was a hard mode, you could also play the song on normal (or easy if the song has it) to enter.
People will have 15 minutes to try and get the most score on that chosen song. After 15 minutes, the timer of the song length of the chosen song starts counting down, gathering last-minute contestants to enter. However, your entry is only valid while you remain connected on the server.
Rewards[]
The rewards consists only event points and is scaled based of the number of entries, and rank among entries.
- 1st place rewards on a leaderboard with only 1 player gives you 100 event points.
- 1st place rewards on a leaderboard with 25 players gives you ~750 event points.
Weekly Mission Leaderboards[]
Weekly mission leaderboards
Weekly Mission Leaderboards was released on July 22nd, 2023 and it requires a lot of co-operation and teamwork. By completing one of the two mission of scoring # or more combined, you get to participate in the weekly mission leaderboards. There are 2 types of categories: Total Score and Lowest Gear Power. Depending on your place on your selected category, you can obtain exclusive titles and leaderboard tickets. You can enter both category at once.
Total Score is straightforward, everyone’s total score is counted towards the leaderboards. Try and recruit some of the best players or people with good gear to help everyone in the match get a high score.
Lowest Gear Power is more tactical, this requires at least everyone reach the score requirements of the weekly mission whilst having the least gear as possible. People with negative gear power will have their score set to 0 instead of having the total gear power get reduced. The only good solution to beat this category is to have 1 person in the match having enough gear to reach the score requirement with other people helping with 0 gear power.

Criticism[]
- Many people criticized the fact that the only way to get on top of the leaderboard is by obtaining and upgrading gear which makes it "pay to win".
- Some people also criticized that if your score is high enough, you might have the possibility of getting banned as spotco will believe that your score is not legitimate.
Trivia[]
- The weekly leaderboards building is canonically named The Tower of Unity, as proven via the Sound Space collaboration.
- During the first week of the leaderboard being released, 2 of the 4 songs' entry fee were 250 coins.
- The leaderboard used to give out coins and stars after it got released, but the rewards were changed sometime after.
- The songs formerly cost 500 coins (Normal mode) and 20 stars (Hard mode) if you didn’t have the songs in your inventory.
- The Tower of Unity can be seen from Space Battle feat. RoBeats! Remix.
- The naruto2413 batch was the first to introduce event leaderboards.
- On January 17th, 2022, FREEDOM DiVE (Classic Map) [EXTENDED CUT] (Hard) was used, making it the first instance where a VIP Exclusive song was used in weekly leaderboards.
- Although it’s an extended cut song, you can buy it with 5 stars if you don’t have the song in your inventory.
- Although the alternative map was featured in the Top Hits (Part 1) event, spotco picked the classic one instead, making it a mistake.
- On January 8th, 2023, Geton the Ascending Current (Spinoff of 'Loudly Cloudy') [EXTENDED CUT] (Normal) was used. It is the second extended cut song to appear in the weekly leaderboards.
- On August 28th, 2023, CICADA3302 [EXTENDED CUT] (Hard) was used. It is the third extended cut song to appear in the weekly leaderboards. After that date, more Extended Cuts have been used in weekly leaderboards occasionally.
- The leaderboards on that day also had some difficulty on rendering very high scores due to people with extremely good gears. The score ranges in the hundred millions, and the counter showed 8 digits of numbers instead of 9.
- When the weekly mission leaderboards first came out, there were no rewards that got introduced.
- Due to a bug, getting 1st place on event leaderboards with more than 25 people gives only 749 points instead.
- For the leaderboards through December 23rd, 2024 - December 29th, 2024, the 4 songs displayed from the event were from Ardolf instead of Synthion, which was the previous event.
